I've been taking photos almost since I could hold a camera. Polaroid, Flash bulbs, flash cubes, a Petri 35mm and then a Pentax. I wanted a Rolleiflex for my 10th birthday - I didn't get it of course! There were a few long hiatuses in there, between the world of film and digital, but I always intended to return to a fascination with light and motion, the capture of a split second in time, frozen for as long as the physical image exists. And then I fell in love with hockey. A slick surface engraved by determination, blood, sweat, and tears. Photographing hockey teams in action led me to head shots, events, senior photos, editorial photos, and telling a story for which there may be no words. I find a lot of joy in capturing these things for myself, and I wanted you to experience that too. And here we are...
